# Capstone Brief Brightside Home Services is a five-person home-service company that loses leads between web forms, voicemail, email, and field technician follow-up. The owner wants faster response, fewer duplicate records, and a clear weekly view of open opportunities. Constraints: - Budget is modest; the owner will approve a fixed setup fee plus maintenance only if payback is plausible within one quarter. - Customer data includes names, phone numbers, addresses, job notes, and occasional photos. - Staff can review ambiguous AI output once per business day, but not after hours. - Existing tools are a basic CRM export, shared inbox, Google Calendar, and spreadsheets. Required capstone artifacts: - Discovery summary and workflow map. - Opportunity ranking with conservative ROI. - Architecture proposal with deterministic, AI-assisted, agentic, and human-owned steps. - Security and data-handling checklist. - Prototype plan and failure-test plan. - Proposal, pricing, maintenance plan, and 90-day runway note.
Map the client workflow, owners, exceptions, and automation fit.
Prioritize the opportunity from evidence, risk, and buyer value.
Separate deterministic, AI-assisted, agentic, and human-review boundaries.
Capture secrets, PII, validation, rollback, and handoff controls.
Show the working slice and justify where agentic behavior belongs.
Prove the failure path, logs, fallback, and recovery procedure.
Price setup, maintenance, assumptions, exclusions, and repricing triggers.
Turn the simulated engagement into outreach, audit offers, and pilot criteria.
